]]> http://www.juiceboxparty.com/stupid/enhance-that/feed/ 0 Not Necessarily the News http://www.juiceboxparty.com/news/not-necessarily-the-news/ http://www.juiceboxparty.com/news/not-necessarily-the-news/#comments Fri, 20 Nov 2009 22:34:28 +0000 tug http://www.juiceboxparty.com/?p=453 One of my wife and my favorite pass-times is to make fun of local news.  The ridiculousness that  is a local news-cast; with their square-trying-to-be-cool anchors, i-can’t-believe-i-have-to-cover-this-story field reporters and water-skiing chipmunk puff-pieces is almost as funny as it is unwatchable (almost).  Christmas is especially fun with it’s dependable-though-tired “we’re crazy around the office” commercials, with the “happy holidays” song in the background.  One of our favorite targets is weatherman meteorologist chief meteorologist, Bill Bellis, from channel 15.  Not that he’s a bad weatherman, but the “Tell Us, Bellis” bits they ran for a long time we’re too funny with their “spontaneous” questions: “Tell us, Bellis: When does the Monsoon really start?!” (unpredictable!)

Well, the other night, while watching “V”, Bill gave us this treat:
