Today is Bananas
tugHere’s a cool trick I saw over at Lifehacker (I haven’t tried it yet, but it was on the internet, so it must be true). Basically it’s a better way to open a banana: the way that moneys do. Instead of the tugging on the stem with varying results, you squeeze the bottom of the banana and it splits- then pull the split apart to free the banana. Don’t believe me? Watch this guy:

So, I have actually been doing it this way for a few years now. Ever since J Fritz told me that’s how monkeys do it. I figured since monkeys are more advanced than we are it’s gotta be right. And it is! You will never go back.
i wonder…have you ever seen a monkey peel an orange? I think I’d like to see that.

I prefer a machete. Although I have been using the ‘monkey method’ for years.
