Coyote Food and "Mommy"
Jessica Simpson had the unfortunate experience of watching a coyote make-off with her pooch of 5 years, Daisy. Although I think it is kind of cool – the idea of a coyote snatching some-one’s little dog (it happened to my wife’s aunt with two dogs) – I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Well Jessica didn’t take this act of nature lying down. She mustered up fliers, search parties, and even a reward to hunt down her missing pooch.
So, what did she think exactly happened here? Did she think the coyote kidnapped her dog? Did she think perhaps her maltipoo turned on her attacker and overcame it?
Well, Jessi didn’t ask question like that. In fact, latter she tweeted: “Still holding out hope despite the a**holes that say is it a dumb thing to do, Daisy is my baby…why would I stop searching? I’m a mom.” (sic)
Well, I think she’s talking about me.
I’ve long thought that people’s changing attitudes toward their pets is leading to the ruin of society, but at least it’s gratifying to know that coyotes are on our side.
