First nominee: Julio G’s. Everything is good, but the Pollo fundito is dynamite and the best beef enchiladas anywhere. Good chips and salsa and the take out side is quick and (fairly) cheap. Viva Julio!

Rosita’s on 14th St. and Roosevelt. Best green chile burrito in the entire world!
Ajo Al’s – Best Pizza Nortenia – in and out with the family for $10!
    Camerones – Best Coconut Margarita

Habeneros. The blackened polo tacos rule, Hot, spicy and taste.

  • Andi

Arriba – it’s yummy (the chips and salsa are so good)!

I’ll second Julio G’s and add Tacos Jalisco. Some of the best tacos and shrimp seviche I’ve ever had.

  • Johnny

America’s Taco Shop on 7th St N. of McDowell. Best Carne Asada in the Valley.

I’m going to second Arriba (because I was told to) and Rosita’s (I’ve only been there twice, but it was goood (yes, 3 “o”s)), and Ajo Al’s (I do miss it so)

I also want to throw Someburros into the mix. Great Pollo Fundito, I’ve actually never gotten anything else there – why would I? Their Fundito, Julio’s Magnifico and Ajo Al’s Pollo con Queso are all the same idea, but each great and each a little different – and if I had to eat one right now, it’d be Somburro’s Fundidto.

And I must add Bajio – I know it won’t do well in the tourney because it’s not well known, but, dang, is it good. Awesome Chimi’s and the best Nachos. And everything is so customizable.

Well since some of my favorites already on the board how about:

“Carlos O’Briens” – one of my favorites!
“Los Betos” – it must make the list, right?
    “Los Olivos”
